Today we shot some video for the new salomon freeski website. I'm headed back home tomorrow. Thanks to the famille bertrand for hosting me on this visit to annecy.

I timed my visit to annecy perfectly with the arrival of the summer weather.

The cable for this thing arrived in whistler today. The spools are so heavy that it's going to take a marvel of engineering just to get them up the mountain. Don't worry the discovery channel is here to film it all.

One of the things that makes skiing the coolest sport ever is the daffy. Here's one from a session on the glacier at blackcomb today.

My friend Leslie and I were out on a bike ride the other day. We were using the Whistler Valley Trail to get up valley when a dog jumped out from behind a tree. I hit the brakes and managed to swerve out of the way, but Leslie flew over the bars and ended up in the hospital. After a bunch of X rays, it turned out he was just bruised and concussed. It's kinda funny now, especially looking at this photo. It really wasn't too funny at the time.

Steve, Sean and I are going for it full time on season 2 of Salomon freeski tv. Any video that you see associated with Salomon skiing, probably comes out of our little Whistler studio.

The trails are clear and the riding is good.
